'Hey there! Welcome to Silver Screen Style, where we recapture Old Hollywood glamour using modern and vintage reproduction clothing. My name’s Laura, so I thought it would be fitting that the first video upload should be a Laura movie lookbook.  I love 1940s fashion, so it was thrill finding the pieces from the film.  Laura is an American film noir from 1944. The costumes, story and cinematography beautifully portray the mystery, drama and glamour of the genre. Laura was produced and directed by Otto Preminger, and stars Gene Tierney, Dana Andrews and Clifton Webb, and features a young Vincent Price. The screenplay is based on the 1943 novel by Vera Caspary.  What I’m wearing: I’m wearing the Royal Vintage Marilyn 1940s Pumps in Black.
